Invest as a club,
not a crowd.
Form a group with friends, family, or classmates, propose trades, and vote on every one together. Right now it runs on practice money and real market prices — no real dollars change hands, and we tell you that twice.

Most people learn to invest by guessing alone. We think it's better learned together — with real votes, real market prices, and a group that holds every trade to account.
Even our mark is built from candlesticks — green for gains, red for the risk we're always upfront about.
Form or join a group
Pick a size that fits — from a Micro group of under 10 to a Large group of under 100 friends, family, or classmates.
A manager proposes a trade
Every buy or sell starts as a proposal, and the manager puts in the first 10% from their own contribution.
The group votes
Weighted by contribution. Nothing executes without 60–80% approval, depending on group size.
Track it, together
Watch practice performance move with real market prices, and see how your group ranks.
Grow the group, unlock more room.
Every group starts small. As it adds members, it moves through five tiers — and how much any one person can contribute grows right along with it.
See every tier →Micro & Mini
Under 10, then under 25 members. Tight-knit groups — think a floor, a class section, a friend group testing the idea out.
Small & Medium
Under 50, then under 75. Enough voices for real debate before every vote, still small enough that everyone's opinion counts.
Large
Under 100 members, our current ceiling. No group grows past this during the pilot.
Every tier, same rules
Weighted voting and supermajority approval apply no matter the size — growth changes your room to contribute, never the guardrails.
Supermajority, every time
60–80% of the group's weighted vote has to approve a trade before it happens. No manager acts unilaterally.
Managers put their own money in
Every proposed trade includes the manager's own contribution alongside everyone else's — never just their word.
One partner, if we ever go there
If Investcactus ever holds real funds, they'd move through a single regulated banking partner — never a manager's personal account.
Encrypted, always
Data is encrypted at rest and in transit on our AWS infrastructure, with access tightly restricted.
A pilot, on purpose.
Investcactus started as a project inside a finance and economics classroom, and that's still what it is today — a small, self-funded pilot, not a finished financial product.
